Rather unfriendly to children and very decisive to the guests. Only powder coffee and no extra milk on request. With the cappuccino the powder was not completely dissolved. Apple fritters were well fried. We're not going there anymore.

Very quaint inn. It was a little time travel. We were very positively impressed by the extremely friendly and nice lady who entertained us. Thank you very much for that. The food was hearty and simple and worth the price and after a visit to the Eistobel it was just the thing.

Came from hiking. Just wanted to sit in the patio for cake / coffee (the tables at the patio are about 2 meters from the entrance). We then complained in the most unfriendly way why we weren't wearing a mask. So: 2 guests less. It's amazing that restaurateurs can afford something like that in the current situation. Can only advise against.

Good and inexpensive food. Friendly service and clean sanitary facilities. Also suitable for wheelchair users. Inn is recommended. Come again.

We stopped there for lunch after the Eistobel tour. We had a lot of fun with the landlady the whole time. The food (schnitzel with fries) was simple but very tasty and was super quick on the table. The apple fritters were great. We'll definitely be back.

Known the local since 1992, come there every year, the landlady is just great and super friendly, it is a must for us to go there

We were happy with the food. The meat was what I wanted it to be. The service was friendly.

Nice garden restaurant in a quiet location, although clearly visible from the through road. Near the Eistobel car park. Good middle class menu with affordable prices. The food was very good and large enough portions. No long waiting times.

Extremely unfriendly service, didn't put on a mask in the beer garden because we thought that (as usual) you don't have to do that outdoors. They then complained in the most impolite way that we had to put on the masks or whether she spoke Chinese. Left straight away. Can only advise anyone against letting their mood spoil there!

The waitress was so rude and hit us so badly that we couldn't even get to our seat (as one of us wasn't wearing a face mask outside on the terrace). I guess that was the boss / landlady, as no employee behaves like that. I will never enter this inn again and will not recommend it to anyone. You can normally say that you have to wear a face mask and don't get offensive right away.

Incredible treatment! The service was so rude when taking the order and asking for a salad dressing (!) That we went straight back. Have been dubbed “smart asses” and more. Clear non-recommendation!

After a nice hike we were still very tasty food in a great environment. The service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. Drinks came immediately.
